Why I’m Running for Re-Election

I love serving on SLP’s School Board!

I am running to continue to serve because…

I believe:

  • Every child should have access to high quality education in a welcoming and nurturing learning environment

  • We must lead with courage in the face of efforts to undermine public education, equity and inclusion

  • It is critical to center the voices of those most impacted by our work - students, families and educators

I am deeply connected to SLP Schools:

  • As a parent - Both of our children attend SLP schools and we are active participants in SLP community education

  • As a current school board member - I was appointed in April 2022 and elected in November 2022

  • As a neighbor and community member for over 12 years
